In fact, our office is here to support you in exploring, discovering, and learning about the many potential career paths you can embark on, and the skills, experiences, and strategies for setting yourself up for success in any field.
Free Professional Clothing
The Office of Career Development partners with Thriftique and Dress for Success Pittsburgh to provide students access to free professional clothing. Through this partnership, eligible students may receive a $50 voucher to shop at Thriftique for career-ready attire.
Each spring semester, Career Development also hosts Suited for Success, an on-campus event where Dress for Success brings their mobile boutique directly to Chatham, allowing students to select professional clothing at no cost.
Students who would like to visit the Dress for Success boutique in Lawrenceville can do so by completing a referral through our office. To request a voucher, attend an event, or complete a referral, please contact us at careers@chatham.edu or call 412-365-1209.

Approaching Career Through Life Design Framework
Life Design is a way of thinking about your future using ideas from design thinking. Instead of trying to figure everything out all at once, it helps you explore different paths and make thoughtful choices about your education, career, and goals. The goal is to help you understand yourself better, create meaning in what you do, and take steps toward a life and career that feel right for you.
We support you by:

Using assessments and reflection exercises to help you figure out the kind of impact you want to make and what types of work environments fit you best
