Career Preparation

Career preparation at Chatham goes further. We don’t just edit resumes and cover letters, we help you cultivate qualities that make you stand out and build the resilience and persistence that will serve you throughout your professional life.

Internship Process

All undergraduate students at Chatham are required to complete 3 credits of internship. The Chatham University Internship program is designed for students with the opportunity to acquire hands-on work experience in a professional setting. The Career Development Office is not a placement center or temp agency that matches employment and/or internships for students. The primary focus of the office is to equip students and alumni with a broad range of tools, resources, and skills that empower them towards self-authorship; to explore, identify, and pursue a fulfilling career path; and to make informed and meaningful career decisions.
