On Wednesday, March 27th Dress for Success Pittsburgh arrived at Chatham with a free boutique of professional clothing. Students rushed to the Welker Room in James Laughlin Music Hall to get suited for success.

Olivia Harris, the Student Assistant for Student Outreach at the Career Development Office, was the one who spearheaded this impactful event. Olivia's passion for supporting her peers and her commitment to fostering a thriving community at Chatham have been instrumental in bringing the Suited for Success event to fruition. Through her efforts, she has not only planned but also executed this impactful event, leaving Chatham students feeling more confident and adding professional clothing to their wardrobes.

Suited for Success could not have happened without a collaboration with Dress for Success Pittsburgh. This event’s goal was to equip students with free professional attire to empower them to present themselves confidently in interviews, internships, and other career-related pursuits. Suited for Success had over 40 Chatham students take away free professional clothing.

The success of Suited for Success wouldn't be possible without the invaluable partnership of Dress for Success Pittsburgh and its dedicated volunteers. Their unwavering support and generosity have played a pivotal role in making this event a reality. By providing access to quality professional clothing, they have helped remove barriers that often hinder students from reaching their full potential.

The impact of Suited for Success extends far beyond professional clothing. It's about instilling students with a sense of confidence, authenticity, and empowerment as they navigate their professional journeys. By equipping them with the tools they need to make a positive impression, Suited for Success helped open doors to opportunities that may have otherwise seemed out of reach.

Olivia’s leadership and dedication to engaging the Chatham community and spotlighting inclusivity guided her vision. This, coupled with the support of Dress for Success Pittsburgh, elevated this event so students can thrive and succeed professionally. As we celebrate the achievements of Suited for Success, we also extend our deepest gratitude to Olivia, Dress for Success Pittsburgh, the Student Assistant team, and all those who have contributed to the success of this impactful event.
